Professor Mark ClementsProfessor Mark Clements is Director of Education/Chair in Science Education for The School of Life Sciences, College of Science

“My research explores various aspects of science education within the higher education context. Current interests include how design-based learning approaches more commonly used within the arts can be applied to the sciences. I am also exploring the role of creativity in science education and the value of providing opportunities for students to work across disciplines both within and beyond the sciences. Other interests include how digital technologies can be used to support social collaborative experiential learning and how Universities respond to the needs of the ‘forth industrial revolution’.”
