Dr Antje Hildebrandt

Dr Antje Hildebrandt is a Lecturer / Programme Leader for The School of Fine and Performing Arts, College of Arts

“I’ve become interested in pedagogy in relation to choreography whilst undertaking the PGCert TLHE 2015-2016. One of my recent papers entitled ‘Choreography, Education, Space: Florence Peake’s “”Remake”” (on campus)’ was presented at the annual Performance Studies international conference PSi #22 on the theme of ‘Performance Climates’, which took place in Melbourne (Australia) from 6th – 9th July 2016. I’m currently in the process of submitting a BA/Leverhulme Small Grant application entitled ‘Every-bodys needs what we’ve got: Reskilling the postconceptual dancer’. In my role as Practice as Research Group Lead, I’ve initiated a collaborative interdisciplinary research project on ‘Pedagogies of Practice as Research’ which is in the initial stages of development.”
